All are welcome here

If you have ADHD, AuDHD, identify as neurodivergent, or just feel misunderstood / shamed, you already know how exhausting it is. Support can come in many forms. Here we bear witness, listen, and affirm each other without giving advice or correcting each other. we understand that everybody's journey is unique, but the human-dealing-with-life element is universal.

This circle is a no pressure environment.

It's a facilitated peer support group by people with AuDHD, built on a simple structure borrowed from one of the most time-tested formats in the world — the recovery meeting. People share. People listen. Nobody interrupts, nobody comments on your share, nobody tries to fix you. You speak into a room of people who are simply bearing witness — and then you get to do the same for them.

That's it. And it turns out that's a lot.

How a session works — exactly, every time

Predictability matters, especially for ADHD and autistic nervous systems, and especially if groups make you anxious. So here is precisely what happens, every session:

  1. Welcome & grounding — 5 minutes I open the circle, read a short statement of how we operate, and we settle in.
  2. Sharing rounds — 45 minutes Anyone who wants to share gets the floor, uninterrupted, for [X] minutes. Share about your week, your struggles, your wins, your stuck places — whatever is true for you. No one will respond to your share. No feedback, no advice, no "have you tried."
  3. Facilitator reflection — 5–10 minutes As facilitator, I'm the one exception to the no-crosstalk rule, and I use it lightly: near the end, I offer brief positive framing — naming the courage, effort, and humanity in what was shared. Never advice. Never analysis.
  4. Close — 2 minutes We end on time. Always.

You never have to share. Coming to listen is a full and complete way to participate. Many people listen for weeks before they say a word. Cameras-on is encouraged but not required.

Who this is for

You don't need to be in crisis. You don't need a diagnosis. You just need to want regular, structured human connection.

Why "no crosstalk" changes everything

Crosstalk is the recovery-meeting term for responding to someone else's share — commenting, advising, relating it back to yourself. We don't do it. Here's why that single rule does so much work:

What this is — and what it isn't

This is: facilitated peer support. A companionship circle. A witnessing practice. A standing appointment with people who get it.

This is not therapy. I'm not a therapist or a clinician, and this group is not treatment, counseling, or a substitute for professional mental health care. Many members are in therapy and find the circle a powerful complement to it. If you're in acute crisis, please reach out to a licensed professional or a crisis line — and you're still welcome here when you're ready for companionship.

Common questions

Do I have to talk?

No. Listening is full participation — forever, not just at first.

Do I have to have my camera on?

Encouraged, not required. Some members join from bed, from the car, mid-fidget, while pacing. All fine.

Is this only for people with ADHD?

It's built around ADHD and neurodivergent experience, and that's most of the room — but anyone struggling who wants this format is welcome.

Is this a 12-step program?

No. We borrow the structure — sharing without crosstalk, starting and ending on time, the equality of the room — not the steps, the program, or any religious or spiritual content.

What if I'm in therapy?

Great — this pairs well with it. Several members bring things they heard in circle back to their therapists, and vice versa.

What if I join and never come?

Then cancel — one click, no hard feelings. But you might be surprised. A standing time where you're expected by name, with zero pressure to perform, is exactly the kind of external structure ADHD brains tend to thrive on.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes — every member agrees to a simple confidentiality commitment: what's shared in the circle stays in the circle.
